CRNBC Certified Practice
Registered nurses who achieve certification through CRNBC are able to independently carry out some restricted activities that typically require an order. As such, the RN is "solely accountable for the diagnosis and treatment of the client" (CRNBC, 2016). In order to maintain your CRNBC certification, you must meet continuing competence requirements for certified practice. Categories for certified practice include:
  1. Remote Nursing Practice
  2. Reproductive Health, Contraceptive Management
  3. Reproductive Health, Sexually Transmitted Infection
  4. RN First Call
