ARNBC’s Indigenous Health and Nursing Policy Table is comprised of registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licenced practical nurses and psychiatric nurses with a variety of experience, expertise and knowledge in Indigenous health in the traditional First Nation’s territories in B.C. The objective of this policy table is to advise ARNBC, the B.C. Coalition of Nursing Associations and key stakeholders on key policy issues and solutions that impact Indigenous nursing and the health of Indigenous peoples in British Columbia. The policy table members meet on a regular basis and provides leadership, expertise and Indigenous ways of knowing in moving ARNBC’s Indigenous health and nursing portfolio forward.
