The Association of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (ARNBC) is the professional association representing Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in British Columbia. We are a strong, unified voice leading the nursing profession to develop, influence and promote healthy public policy for all British Columbians.
The ARNBC was launched in May 2010 and incorporated under the BC Society Act in July 2010. Our roots began with the informal working group known as the RN Network of BC.
The Association has three broad strategic goals:
- Establish a democratic organization that allows members to make the key decisions on how we function and operate.
- Engage RNs and NPs in British Columbia, while establishing strong relationships with provincial, national and international organizations
- Establish a forum where nurses can communicate professional issues, while recognizing and nurturing the unique policy voice and perspective that a professional association brings to policy development.
The Association is governed by an elected Board of Directors which meets monthly. We welcome your visit and encourage you to explore our website or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
